A teen girl has suffered a cruel fate in the hands of evil rapists who bruised, assaulted and ruined her life.
A 15-year-old girl has been brutally raped in the hospital while receiving treatment for injuries she suffered from a previous rape, authorities in India said.
According to reports, the girl said she was sexually assaulted by a security guard at a hospital in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand, which is mostly impoverished.
She had been admitted to the medical facility several days before after telling police she had been raped by a teenager in her neighborhood, Agence France-Presse reported.
“We registered a case and arrested the private security guard posted at the hospital after the girl’s complaint and are now awaiting her medical report,” police superintendent Chandan Jha told AFP.
The victim was sent to another hospital for treatment, the wire service reported. Her first alleged attacker was arrested and sent to a juvenile detention facility.
Rape and assaults against females in India, including children and teenagers, has been the recent focus of increased attention and efforts to reform the country’s treatment of girls and women.
