The biff which is on between Tekno and Wizkid is what I consider not worth fighting for. The truth remains that Tekno is good and WizKid is good too.
The fact that WizKid has gone far presently does not mean he will wear the crown forever. The crown of TRAP was worn by 2PAC and after he died someone else took up the crown if you know the person tell me. Remember that people are not supposed to glorify themselves rather fans are to do so, if the crown fits you, don't worry fans will definitly wear you the crown.
I strongly believe that after WizKid the next person that has the potential to even go higher than WizKid is TEKNO because in new school music industry now Tekno in no distant time will become a deity worshipped by his fans just as we worship men of old but that does not mean that Tekno is not a god now.
From what I know WizKid is at where he is today because of BANKY W who took him from the scratch and made him somebody even though some artists will claim that they came out from the gutter but we all know WizKid's story where and how he lived as a street boy before he met the opportunity which made him a STAR BOY now. That has made me look into the gutter anytime I'm passing by the road to see if there is any up coming artist since there all claim that there started from the gutter. #LAUGHS#
My advice for TEKNO is that he should be more focused in building leaders of tomorrow, I mean those that will pilot the music industry after they (Tekno and the rest) are gone. I'm trying to be straight forward and objective even though I have been following TEKNO on his twitter handle after I learnt that he was helping people who have business ideas and difficulty in paying school fees which I applauded him for but to my surprise TEKNO was giving money at random to those who have generator and needed fuel for their gen; and those whose comment attracted him, forgetting that there are people who don't even have generator nor common subscription on their phones.
Therefore TEKNO should channel his resources towards establishing people who will also help others, until TEKNO does that, he is not a legend. This is one of the reasons why I like Anambra people even though I'm from Ebonyi state (never mind Igbo is one) because they find pleasure in helping one another so that those people can also help others when they become established and will also always continue to remain loyal to those who brought them up.
Okay! Take for instance: I'm a DJ (DJ HUMBLE) in university of Nigeria Nsukka and I'm also a blogger. I don't make boosts because i know where i am but at least in my own small way I have been a fan of TEKNO and WIZKID to the extent that one woman who is my neighbor here asked me one day, what is the meaning of this song that you play every time on you phone that is always singing ra ra? ( fuck fuck in her own interpretation) and I told her that its my best of ALHAJI TEKNO's songs and that the story line is about the bad government in Nigeria and that the name of the song is Rara( which means at all, at all in Yoruba language) and the woman became amazed and said she will continue to pray for the success of this young man called TEKNO.
Now the truth is that we know how to become popular just like LINDA IKEJI who started biffing artists one after the other but its not ethical to me as a person. Till today WizKid and Linda Ikeji don't pass through the same lane.
To whom much is given, much is expected. TEKNO and WIZKID if you guys by any means come to Nsukka you will be amazed to know how much people (students) love your songs Samantha, Rara, Yawa, Pana, Diana, Wash, boss, be, where, duro.... Ojuelegba, sweet love, daddy yo, in my bed, African bad girl, picture perfect, Lagos to Kampala etc. All credits to Nsukka DJs.
If you want to be man of the people be man of the people. I challenge TEKNO and WIZKID today to forget about their differences today and become legends in their own ways.
